I had the opportunity to create my first-ever mural for Flauntitstudio’s Beauty Room! Titled Naag Nool, the piece celebrates diversity, challenges Eurocentric beauty ideals, and highlights the inner beauty of women. Gold motifs symbolize women’s inherent value, while the Somali term Naag Nool (“Woman Living/Alive”) represents resilience, self-worth, authenticity, and community empowerment. This piece is a reminder to embrace who you are, pour into one another, and never abandon yourself!
